Once upon a time, Umar bin Khattab ra's friend asked Abu Musa Al-Asy'ari ra's friend who was known as the owner of the voice of the Prophet Dawud as to recite the Qur'an. Imam An-Nawawi included this story in his work At-Tibyan fi Adabi Hamalatil Qur'an. Imam An-Nawawi in a quote from Ad-Darimi tells how Umar's friend made the reading of recitations of the Qur'an a solemn moment to remember Allah. Even more than solemn in hearing recitations of the Qur'an.
